What does this profile change?

It changes one system setting: encrypted DNS. DNS requests are sent to Cloudflare instead of the default DNS supplied by your ISP or internet provider.

macOS may identify this profile as unsigned. That means the publisher identity is not cryptographically verified. You can review the readable profile contents before installing it.

Good to know

DNS is not a VPN. It does not hide your IP address, but encrypted DNS prevents your ISP or internet provider from reading the DNS requests sent through this profile.

How to remove

Open System Settings → General → Device Management, select Private DNS, then click Remove.
